Playing card draws determine your character type — from Tender Old-Timer, to Mercurial Outlaw, to Woebegone Prophet, and more. Your character type then guides your prose poem prompts: you choose two partial lines to lift from the game that will open and close your poetic journal entry.
Poetry tutorials, writing tips, thought-starters, and alternate play options — including character-crossing and a multi-day journal mode — are included in the Game Guide.
Your Tools
- Writing implements of your choice, analog or digital
- Hearts and Spades from a deck of playing cards
Mobile-ready Game Guide included. Layout by John Harper, creator of Lasers & Feelings, AGON, and Blades in the Dark.
